No one pays any attention to the mind when it is talking about any of the many non-tangible subjects it has made up through the years – except the mind.
No one else cares; no one else is even slightly interested in such things; no one else believes any of that crap – no one else is even listening– except the mind.
No matter who you are, regardless of your background and experience, the mind talking in your head this very instant is lying – whatever it is saying – if it is talking about things you cannot touch, that are thus not directly pertinent to survival.
Everyone’s mind believes things that are totally, completely, entirely of no interest to you whatsoever. But if you but look at it, and if you are one of the few, truly determined to get to the real root of your dissatisfaction – you may thus alleviate it.
Down toward the end of this road, everything is pretty plain and simple. But, damn if it doesn’t seem to take a lifetime to get that far! Yes, but if you will turn your most sincere and constant attention to what was described here today, an otherwise “lifetime” of effort can be whittled down considerably.
