Momentarily and Immediately

All who speak by ordinary tongue have a viper in their mouth – no venom and nothing to say. (And one guy’s motto to himself continues to be:  “I thought I told you to shut up!”)

Giving an awakened man advice is insulting.
Consider that next time you’re about to reprimand yourself.

Explanations are camouflaged excuses, and excuses, ignorance masked.  Only silence is candid.

If you still can talk about yourself without becoming disgusted, you are about as asleep as a man can be.  (And if you still even have an interest in talking about other people, you have better things to do than wake up anyway).

Some Advice:

In emergency situations when suffering from a sudden attack of wanting-to-wake-up, call Mr. Serious.  (“Each Office Independently Owned & Operated.”)

It is most difficult to get an ordinary man, even momentarily, to say that he has no immediate complaint.
