‘Don’t waste your time reading anything on “How to Awaken” that has to have footnotes to explain its terms.
Oh yeah: and never read anything that has been translated from one language to another…or from one head to another.
Oh, all right: don’t read ANYTHING about waking up – not and expect it to do you any good.

There is a certain game, (the only game acceptable to some), which cannot be played on anyone else’s field, yet all men play a version of the game, and without exception, do so on one another’s turf. Under such conditions – victory is not possible for ANYONE.
One man says that the greatest damage his mind inflicts is in its continual opening of, “dangerous and forbidden boxes,” but this is incorrect – there are no such boxes. The injury comes from allowing THE VOICES to make you believe that there are such things that can BE opened.
When you hear about an awakened mind you want one, thinking that this awakened mind is a something, a something you do not now have that you can have. But a mind is not a something, and by your searching for it, you create something in your mind that does not exist.”
