It is not really men whining and crying about themselves physically that so fills the mortal air waves, as it is neurons wringing their little cellular hands and asking themselves: “Why on earth did we say what we just did? What made us make such a foolish statement? What were we thinking?” Ah hah, there is the old rub-ola. Neurons themselves being confounded by their own actions, when not involved in survival related problem solving.
During times, (which is most of a civilized man’s time), when the neurons of consciousness are not forcibly involved in assisting hormones in some survival pertinent problem, they are still being fueled by the only energy available to them – hormonal runoff. And in that they share no verbal/symbolic language with hormones, what they are indirectly motivated to think by them, remains a mystery to them. From this expedient perspective, the wish to awaken is neurons’ desire to understand what drives them in their off-the-clock time. It is consciousness wanting to grasp what it is about it and man, that makes them the singularities that they be.
Note:
No one asks hormones directly about this. Men are not fools and hormones will not respond to questions – neurons will.
Corollary:
Only a man asleep will sit for an interview. A man on the right road out of town works for no one, and offers to assist no one. His life is taken up full time with himself.
Consider:
None of the other animals, who run entirely from hormones,
need or seek assistance from their neighbors.
Only man, the king of the creature hill, with neural consciousness does?
Curious?!
Only the animal who can think, thinks it needs help?
