Everybody Needs A Secret Location

One man says: “When I lay down in bed at night and everything is still and quiet, I fully realize then what ‘being-asleep’ means.  For I know where my body was that day, but when I think back, it is as though ‘I’ was not there.  I know it is the same for the rest of the world, but they don’t notice it, (or at least, don’t care), but it scares hell outta me.”

In soap operas, when characters first began having their “evil twin” appear, it was called an inspired piece of fictional creativity, but in truth, the idea already had a few years on it…like five thousand in real life.

Everybody needs a secret location – one that is unknown even to them.
Everybody has one – but only a few recognize that it is unknown to them.

Once you get past the pseudo mysticism of This Thing, at first it may seem like it becomes just a word game, but not so.  It is a deadly active sport intended to end all word games, especially those unrecognized as such. (Everything ordinary men ordinarily say.)

Trying to change the workings of your mind, when you have only thoughts to do the job, makes the term, “losing battle” seem downright optimistic by comparison.

If what you think about does not result in action it was meaningless.
