There is a company that has a sales force of total incompetents. They represent a solid product, have attractive brochures, and sure as hell can shoot-a-good-line-of-bull. Yet still, they are never able to actually SELL what they say they have TO sell. (P.S. However, the company could not BE more successful.)
There is an area in which sits two towns. One in a valley and populated by mutes, the other on a hill above and full of people with all their physical senses – and indeed, with a particular delight in the art of speech. But, they are not all that bright when compared to the mutes below, who have to furnish the verbose, hill-top people with all of their food and power. There may be a lesson to be learned here – who knows?!?
Still, this brings to mind another land wherein the inhabitants have no concept of there being “lessons-to-be-learned” from being alive. They seem to accept just BEING alive as the only thing one needs to know…or perhaps even can know. But why worry about them? They are so – SO far away!)
During an interview when “Kid” Hormones was asked about, “Iron, Glass-Jaw” Thoughts, he replied good naturedly: “Ah, I’ve been carrying that stumble bum for years.”
