Inside the cattle drive and inside the city,
only minds stuck to other minds are deemed healthy.
Life officially approves of bunches. The solitary have gotta play hunches to remain solitary and not be sucked in again.

“He doesn’t say anything if you kick him.”
“Yeah, but he could just be more ALIVE.”

Within the fortified, protected, and formidable walls of civilization, those inside believe that the structure is always near collapsing. Many individuals fear themselves close to insanity, saved only by the support of others, with minds no different than their own. (A salvation best left unexamined.)
