The other “mental state” favored by the few is so different from the ordinary one that it deserves such names as: “The Awakened, The Enlightened” condition, yet it is so
close to the ordinary state that such names are in truth, over-blown.

You’re either: “intelligent” or ordinary. (Intelligent: “Able to grasp truth and capable of understanding.)
Intelligent is not same as: educated, or knowledgeable: The ordinary can be that.

Some random, describable attributes: (Not exhaustive…Add to your own list) An intelligent man makes no claims of knowledge for himself: does not discuss, debate or argue ideas: has no questions, and, above all, no answers: he is not a man in search of anything. An intelligent man doesn’t listen to anyone and doesn’t think about what others do. He doesn’t have the concerns common to others: he has no heroes: has no need to speak, or express his “views” or in any way be intellectually noticed.

An intelligent man has no “plans”: he has no vanity: is not verbally defensive: can’t be mentally “classified” by others: doesn’t try to “help” or “instruct” other people,
and an intelligent man’s mind is not the victim of thought and is not tied to thought.
His mind is not dependent on thought, and all-in-all: an intelligent man’s mind is not the same thing as his thoughts.

Some attributes of the “intelligence” of an intelligent man:
It cannot be seen or measured in any way: it cannot be shared or taught:
it is never partial and therefore never in need of any “correction,” and it contains no personal “views, or positions” on any subjects, and is silent.

To be “ordinary” is to have a mind composed entirely of the thoughts common to all men: it is to be personally “aimless” (in a mental sense) with no individual comprehension / understanding of what being alive is actually about.

Being ordinary is to “feel that” you are ordinary:
To be “intelligent” is to be satisfied that you are in fact — intelligent.
To be intelligent is to know how things are without any thought; without questions and answers: to be (in your head) – “calm, empty, and quiet” (C.E.Q.)

Being ordinary is to live entirely by instinct (including mentally) being intelligent is living “otherwise,” and only you know which are doing.

No man is either ordinary or intelligent outside of his own mind (outside of himself).
