96073-1
On one world:
Everyone is born with an electrical appliance — one that is already plugged in,
As natural and convenient as is this arrangement, a few, here–&-there, still find fault therewith.

96073 -2
Even though the one in charge of crowd control could, at times, get it relatively quiet up front,
There would still be a kind of mechanical, background noise present
Whenever the parade was near a magnetic field ….which it always seemed to be.

96073 -3
Collectively-driven consciousness is like an endless flow of traffic,
And the individual kind, like a traffic jam — one you’re no longer in.

…look: if metaphors made sense, you wouldn’t need them in the first place, and in the second place: they never make sense any way
To those who understand them.

96073-4
If you believe that anyone else understands more about life than you do —
— then they do; and,
If you believe that someone else can explain life to you — then they can’t.

Grocery stores aren’t the only ones who’d bag things up for you.

96073-5
One man began to view hand gestures as reflections of his mental operations,
But someone told him that this was no real discovery! —
And that such an idea was obvious! —
— What else would one’s hand gestures be signifying
Other than what they were thinking?! —
But the man insisted that he wasn’t being understood aright —
That that wasn’t what he was talking about —
But no matter how he tried — no one could seem to see what he was pointing to.

’tis hard to discuss with fleas, the philosophy of jumping,

96073-6
No matter that they will laugh at and deny it when confronted,
Ordinary men do believe that by
Having more books, or greater access to expanded sources of information that, in some manner — they have become more intelligent.

It certainly sounds ridiculous when put so plainly,
But this is simply another unrealized aspect of the mind’s standard construction.

96073-7.
One man heard a noise —
He wasn’t sure how it got there — but it was there, that’s for sure.

96073-8
The challenge to all transcendental athletes is to be able to stand still
Amidst the ceaseless swirl of the universal waters.

96073-9
One man heard a noise —
He wasn’t sure it was necessary -but it was there just the same,

96073-10
To a warrior –
The ills of humanity are only humorous in his own instance.
…(and even then of course, it’s a kind of pathetic, gut-bustin’ humor enjoyable by only one.)

95073-11
One man heard a noise — everyone else heard it too —
But that didn’t make him like it any better.

96073–12
For all of those interested in the condition,
All that’s been said and written about the condition
Is more interesting than anything else ever said or written.
And yet —
And still —
Nothing ever said or written about the condition even comes close to what it is.

96073-13
For the games on one planet,
They divided everyone up into the following teams:
90% of the beings played for the stomach team,
8% for the heart-&-soul team
And whatever was left, for whatever team was left (!?!)

One father told his son:
“If you like,
You can look at the mind as the playing field, and consciousness the activity thereon.”

96073-13(B)
There was once a universe in which life could only take hold in areas where things were predictable —
— but then after that (from one non-standard view),
Things would become too much so.

(Note: this mentioned, “Non-standard view” refers to a certain attitude within the minds of certain beings indigenous therein.)
* * *
As long as you “Go with the flow” — nothing is ever amiss — even though you complain & bitch.

96073 -13(c)
After having done god a good turn,
One man asked as his reward to be given some kind of itchy hat he could wear that would never allow him to forget that he had a head on.
* * *
One mother told her daughter:
“If you want to
You can think of the mind as a thing,
And consciousness as what happens to it.”
* * *

96073-14
An older warrior once mused:
“I guess ’tis good that one has a greater sense-of-excitement
When this adventure is first begun,
For in that way — the excessive pursuit of
The ill-understood
Is more easily managed.”

…Might I add that:
Him being a proven warrior,
He never accepted this most natural of situations as being of any
Personal significance to him, one way or the other,
…Which, as all on this journey must eventually realize,
Is the only useful response to life’s conditions,)
* * *
Not understanding the natural rhythms of life,
The ordinary will mistake weakness for wisdom.

96073-15
A boy asked his father to explain the attempt to establish one’s consciousness
Outside the mechanical, magnetic network common to all men, and the elder replied:
“Let me tell you a story: during battle, a warrior was wounded in the leg,
And upon return to camp,
Because of the intensity of the pain, he had,
Unnoticed by himself, begun to favor his good leg,
And someone asked him why he was limping,
Which immediately made him aware of his condition of consciousness and he replies
“Looking for sympathy, I guess.”

96073-16
As one man began to realize more fully how he and everyone else are
Plugged into the ceaseless, impartial flow of life,
He invented a phrase that he’d ofttimes repeat,
When he’d find himself again in the grip of some personally trying situation:
(he’d say):
“It’s natural as can be — shame on me!
It’s natural as can be — shame on me!
It’s natural as can be — shame on me!”

96073-17
Irony is wasted on the ordinary since they never fully expect the expected any way.

96073-17(B)
Even among non-music lovers,
There’s nothing the mind enjoy more than an old familiar song.
….(and the word, “Enjoys” doesn’t begin to cover it.)

96073 -18
One man started a comedy team called:
“Keep a head on your shoulders & watch your step.”
And just because there was only one of him, made no difference since
No one ever hired him anyway.  ….(huh?!….You thought they would?!?)

96073 -19
When they somehow even get close to the truth about life,
Ordinary men will quickly turn their face away as though they’d seen a ghost.
96073-20
A young knight once mused:
“If I could stop talking, I could stop complaining,” then later — realized his error.

96073-21
There is a natural flow of energy that runs commonly through all men and which establishes the mortal state of consciousness.
The search for enlightenment is the struggle to free one’s self from this situation. That’s the beginning of it, the middle of it, and its conclusion.

96073-22
Definition time:
Life; (as in: “being alive and aware of it”): being trapped on one world.

96073-23
One man pondered:
“Which is worse: not knowing where the grail is?
Or not knowing how to get there?!
After a while spent on this, he reached a new view, whereat he pondered: “Which is worse: not knowing how to get there? — or – knowing, but not knowing how to make yourself constantly move there toward?!”

Many an inquisitor-of-consciousness stops with his first few questions., least he go too far and start discovering answer!!

96073-24
As long as he’d sit by the window, whistling and fidgeting,
The passenger could distract himself from the fact that the train wasn’t moving.

A man once asked himself why
All of man’s spiritually directed   rituals still involve physical movement ?!?

Moral: why are there: fingers to point? — and,
Things to be pointed at?!
* * *

96073-25
Men criticizing one another’s thoughts
Is no more than fish blaming particular threads in a net for their capture.

What the ordinary perceive as those things which divide men, are in fact the very ones that hold them together.
– thus what the seekers of awakening are after is no less than an escape from normalcy.

96073-26
For art to be true art it must be forever unfinished — always: “In progress.”

A man once pondered why in most of man’s stories
Do the gods find fault with man, and never, favor ?

Another man once thought: “Even if life does make man do everything he does, why does that stop him from at least learning something from that fact?!”

Art is art when always in progress.

96073 -27
One man paid someone else to be more conscious for him —
And upon finally realizing what he was doing, at first thought: “This will never do!” —
.,,but upon further reflection decided: “Why, this will do nicely!”

96073-28
There are certain things you can’t see in life if you keep moving your head.

96073-29
It is an error for anyone born interested in things mystical,
To believe that they are in some way either blessed or cursed — — they were merely born, like everyone else.

96073-30
If wolves had non-physical memory, they too would morn death, and if men had more conscious memory, they would cease to.

96073-31
One man once paid someone to tell him all about the great quest, but found the explanation too simple So found someone else whose telling of it was more satisfyingly complex.

96073-32
When one man heard it said that: “Nothing is wasted in life.”
He wondered if the struggle for demagnetized consciousness was not the exception.
Moral: you can shoot a man on a horse   …as long as he’s obvious.
* * *

96073-33
As long as your mind talks, someone will talk to it.
…Wheater or not you see this as of benefit is up to you, I guess.

96073-34
The idea of retirement and seclusion is valid —as long as you don’t see it merely physically.

96073-35
Another way to look at why the lessons of enlightenment are never commonly popular:
Those who know the truth about life
Have nothing they can tell ordinary people.
,…(not unlike the relationship between
Collectively-driven consciousness and the individual variety.)

96073-36
One man’s motto: “Play dumb — be dumb.”
…(he says he deserves no credit for this  and I think we should
Take his word for it.)
* * *
There was once an eagle who excused himself from flying by explaining that  he could-not grasp the theories of aeronautics.

One man paid someone else to lead him to the grail — figurin’: “Well, if I don’t find it — it’s not my fault!”
* * *

96073-37
The fat in men’s mental diet comes mainly from talk.

96073-37 B

Unless you are awake.

96073-39

* * *

96073-40
Has been alleged that everyone whoever achieves the state thereafter has but one thing they wish for:
They wish they were able to more handily — kick themself in the ass.

95073-41
Tip for staying alive: no one needs such a thing.

96073 –42
Tip for saving energy in fruitless searches:
Behind every enlightened person is no one else.

96073-43
There was once a warrior whose right hand had fits, and whose left was immobile.
He accepted this arrangement as a metaphor reflecting the relationship between man’s standard state of collectively-driven consciousness
And the struggle to withdraw one’s individual head therefrom.

96073-44    Missing

96073 -45
After a visit to earth,
A being returned and said to his son:
“After you’ve said that: ‘man is man,’ — what else is there to say?!”
