There are three minds possible for man, (with the first two over-lapping): the first mind is “Stupid mind,” which is one-eyed, half-brained, argumentative, and the favorite of those at the fringe of contemporary times.
The second is “Ordinary mind” which covers the area from basic sophistication to society’s revered thinkers.
The third mind possible is that of the liberated one —
The mind fully freed from the confines of the first two.

“So does it mean being free from even thinking about such things!?”

And a voice from the crowd said:
“Not that again! — you’ve already done that a thousand times! –
How much longer are we going to talk about it!?”
And the speaker replied:
“I suspect until you realize that the talking about it is all of the ways.”

Taking that first delicious bite of the mythical fruit, Adam said to god: “It’s great! — so what’s the big deal!?”
And the big guy slapped him blind! Well, not “Blind” exactly,
….Just kinda dazed and distracted.
But hey! — it worked, didn’t it!?

One man suddenly awoke from a summer’s snooze in the backyard, and thought: “‘passing-traffic’ is the inside of my eye lids!”

Tis said that entry into one mystical school could only be achieved by meeting two primary requirements:
That you have a thankful spirit for the possibility of becoming enlightened, and a full tank of gas,

It has been said that all illusion and ignorance arises from
False interpretations of life,
But might I update that for you and have it read that:
All ignorance and illusion comes from any interpretation of life.
You see,
All of that is the proper realm of “Reality-based-mind,”
And not of liberated consciousness.

One man looked at himself and asked:
“Are you really angry and suffering, or just pretending to be?” and thought: “How would I ever know?”
If you never come in out of the rain, you’ll never know what dryness is. …(the guy who wrote this said that the original punch-line-moral was: “If you never stop bleeding, you’ll never know what clotting is.” but that he decided there was probably only “So much” that you could take.)

“In this effort,
Are we seeking to, ‘gain control’ -or to, ‘let go”!?”

During an electric beer storm, two mystics were talking, and one of them said:
“Trying to explain things to an apparently interested audience
is like trying to push 60 tons of dead weight uphill
And it with its heels dug in all the way.”
And the second mystic nodded his head knowingly, and added:
“Yeah, I sometimes feel the same way when dealing with my own mind.”

And was damn near thrown into some other state when his thoughts replied: “Life will, dummy! — as always, life will.”

When it begins realizing that the “Wisdom of the flock” is always two days and four lamb chops late.

The social homogeneity of the mystical:
Those more-conscious used to have a union —
…But no one ever showed up to join —
…And no one was ever there to sign them up either …So, I guess it all worked out.

One guy had 2 rules: never listen to what anyone more conscious than you says. And: if you’re more conscious than everyone else, don’t say anything.

Looking down again at his hand clutching the edge of the cliff
The man said: “Don’t be frightened — let go!”
And his grip replied:
“Tis not fear that any longer holds me here,
But rather my not knowing how to let go.”

One guy took up this rather unusual position regarding the matter of trying to become more conscious, (says he):
“Well, if I’m gonna get screwed, I’d rather it be by life than mere reality.”
Query: are the mystically inclined always obvious by their higher standards?

“I would not be what I am today, were it not for, ‘the disease’,”
And all of the jurors, being human and understanding quite well what he meant, set him free without deliberation.

To which his mind replied: “But will you continue to take the easy way out,

Trying to control attention & extend consciousness is a strange undertaking in that it does not take either a long or short time to do.

May in fact be the one who knows full well what he’s doing, without thinking about it.
