All would-be mystical groups need for adhesion (in addition to fear/reverence for the leader): name/distinction; doctrine/system; stated aim; methods (mindfulness); guilt (from failure at methods). The ordinary mystic leader recounts another’s story/journey of enlightenment only. A real one recounts only his own. Real mystics get their info from the open secret of living everyday life. this is never seen by the ordinary mind.
