Kyroot to :14. The conflict between act-based and fact-based operations of the Nervous System allows for no useful communication between them; psychology notwithstanding, there can be no reconciliation. The Real Revolutionist can pick up useful “travel tips” from the act-based. Just as the fact-based have an attitude toward the act-based, the act-based if they could speak-think, would consider the fact-based to be pretentious, inconclusive, indecisive, evasive, fey, even unnecessary. Each sees the other as being relatively-speaking unnecessary.

In these unending battles between thinkers and doers there are no victors, save Life and a stray Real Revolutionist here and there. Since people don’t think about their AW/actual world existence w/o making it fact-based, in what broader, more institutional way might one think about the fact-based existence? On a psychological-humanistic, or religio-mythical basis, or on new, untried unhistorical basis? No matter how scientific and sincere a manner of exploration within the confines of the universe, it cannot exceed its quasar-ridden edges. It can never find the “big-hang” seminal event of its own universe/reality.

Epilogue: the strange sleepiness among viewers: consider overload.

The News

Whenever this one guy’s brain would say something he didn’t
like, he’d reply, “Yeah — right! So if you ‘love me so much’ how
come you never kiss me on the lips!”

***

Facts cannot predict acts (not in the way in which they can
foreshadow other facts).

***

Explains one fellow, “My lack of intellectual advancement
can be directly traced to my having taken a vow as a child never
to think anything I couldn’t remember.”

***

Once the solicitation was extended, several people showed
up, which, according to its author, is why the offer is so
infrequently made.

***

Good city advice appropriated from the restroom wall: “Being
wrong is easier than buying an eraser.”

***

A man with two eyes is not your friend; a reality with two
likelihoods cannot be your mentor.

***

Mused one cosmopolitan chap, “One excellent thing about
being ordinary and being alive is that you can be ‘sick and
tired of how things are’ without the danger of any consequences.”

***

The faction near the front of the room then proposed the
following: “Anyone who puts the term ‘the truth’ in caps, in
quotation marks, or both, should be either fried, shot, or both.”

***

When this one guy decided to re-have his second kid, this
time ’round he named him “Wholesale Prices.”

***

Not being able to pronounce a word shouldn’t necessarily
stop you from mispronouncing it.

*** On auspicious occasions this one fellow would wire all of
his relatives and outlying neural parts as follows:
“Standstill, stop. Everything at a standstill, stop.” …(Many
of his members would not bother to reply.)

***

During the afternoon shift of the “Speakers In The Park,”
the three-fifteen performer proclaimed, “There is within all
different religions a common denominator.” And an ole sore head
in the crowd told his kid, “Yeah – dumbness!” And the lad asked,
“Well, what about the different sciences?” “Kid, it’s good you
brought that up, ’cause I don’t play favorites.”

***

I don’t suppose — (har-dee-har) — that anyone sees any
operational significance to the fact that you don’t have to think
about anything you already understand.

***

The abhorrent, adorable legend of one kingdom tells how,
after a long weekend of “poor feeding,” this one people’s
culture turned on them with a singular viciousness. …(After
this episode, the latter group began plans to start their own
legends and myths.)

***

One guy used to ring himself up to say how much he missed
him, even when he didn’t mean it.

***

Okay now, the version for later-in-the-month: In the battle
of ideas in the secondary domain, there are no winners or losers –
just battles.

***

If X is properly impressed by Y, X is close to not being
impressed.

***

One group was held captive so long that the word lost its
original meaning. …(Corollary: When no one any longer
notices, it becomes necessary to rewrite the definition.)

***

brain, but was never able to consummate the passion, in that
inter-species mating was forbidden.

***

After having played in numerous games, danced in many
companies, and been shown in sundry galleries, one internal
upstart said to self, “If it was as easy as it appears, I’da never
started.”

***

Anyone who explains how one city thing causes some other
city thing is certainly an expert in such matters and is exactly
in his proper position.

***

“If it weren’t for the spatial demands of life, how much
pressure would an intelligent man actually feel?”, he asked. And
another gentleman replied, “I don’t know; why don’t you ask
one.”

***

It’s some form of art if it at least makes the old men mad
just by its presence.

***

The city scribe told the visiting class of children, “One
neat aspect of being an author is that you can either write about
what you know about or write about what other people have already
written about.” As he stood to shoosh them out, he added, “And
the double neatness is that the first possibility is all but
impossible.”

***

In this one world, an activist is just a lazy thinker.

***

Quote Of The Day (this feature would be actually better
called “A Certain String Of Words Within Quotation Marks,” but
you gotta admit – it lacks rhythm and style, so back to it – the
“Quote Of The Day”): “Sir, as long as your car’s already up on
the rack, now’d be a good time to change your mind.”

***

one city chap said, “I don’t want no god that needs P.R. men.”

***

Once you get on its bad side, there’s this one reality
that’ll never let you hear the end of it.

***

In line with his conviction that everyone should do their
part to “stabilize the ship of life, and help maintain its course
of continuity,” this one man erected an enormous billboard in
front of his city business that said, “In A World Gone Mad We
Continue To Provide Shoddy Goods And Unreliable Services.”

***

On some jello left in the Lit Department’s cafeteria was
this graffiti: “Any thousand page epic whose heart can’t be put
in a paragraph isn’t worth the purloined preface on which it’s
based.”

***

During a particularly slow period in his neural social life,
one fellow threw down his hat and hollered that, “I’ll just be
damned if I’ll be stood-up by the likes of me!”

***

Through his mortal wounds, the king gasped these final
words, “Look for me in the ruins of Paradise.” And several of
the knights were so awestruck by the transcendental impact of
their liege’s verbal legacy, they fell to their knees in silent
respect, while several others dropped to the ground to swipe his
new boots.

***

All civilians play “dress up;” some just start later than
others.

***

Wrapped in his monogrammed bedtime refinements, this one man
would pray each night, “Dear god, if dawn must come, let it be
swift and sudden.” …(According to certain government
statistics: There is little accounting for some people’s
theological diversions.)

***

equilibrium, this one guy told his legs that one of them was
older than the other.

***

At half time, during the recent marching band shortage, a
loud, unlocalized voice came over the unpresent P.A. system and
said, “It’s these choices: you can either have total quality,
total service, or total reality going under the name of ‘total
satisfaction’.” And the stadium damn near rioted.

***

A rather typical man in your city began to see strange, non-
existent creatures in his back yard; he first feared he was going
mad, but since they appeared to him nowhere else, he decided
everything was all right. …(Is it not comforting the
reassurance the mind offers its owner?)

***

If the intellect won’t explain itself, who will?

***

‘Tis said that the last step is the hardest, but not so if
you’re headed in a non-geometric direction; if your journey is to
acquire additional dimensions, the question of difficulty never
arises.

***

Waving his hairy hair in the boulevard wind, the street
corner speaker declared, “Those who have the truth need nothing
more.” And a passing course in history muttered, “Yeah, cause
all who have the truth are dead!” …(Home delivery of sarcasm
with fewer than three toppings will not be made to the Humanities
Dormitory after ten p.m.)

***

In certain realities some things change while you’re not
looking, and some things change while you are looking, and, oh
yeah, it all happens while no one is looking.

***

In parrying the appliance salesman’s thrust, this one guy
says, “Long as I got a brain, I don’t need a blender.”

***

peak, but then announce that the view was closed. …(No job
seekers enamored by a Beatrice need apply at this Park Service.)

***

One parental director’s advice, “In your life’s movie when
you don’t know what to do next, go to flashbacks.”

***

There are some versions of reality that are older than
others, but when you get up real close, they all look the same.

***

Everybody’s on drugs.

***

One guy used to tell himself a lot of stuff that would turn
out to be incorrect — but on purpose, he says. “Yeah,” he
replied, “on purpose, my ass!”

***

“Dear sainted Pa Pa, may I ask thee this one question for
today: Why doth men continue to rhapsodize about how all new
birth comes through the pain of others, when my own intellectual
creations give nothing but joy?” And the ole man was so
radiantly enraptured that he still has yet to reply.

***

And as the seas continued to churn and thrive, the atoms,
cells, and molecules clung dearly to one another, and thus were the
humans also able and liable to do so.

***

Sometimes, while in a playful mood, this one reality would
shout out to its brood, “Hey, can you still see me through the
fog?”

***

The paper-leader of one universe declared, “Hey folks!
Let’s face it – it’s all just a hobby to somebody.”
