Kyroot to :08. Only a creature privy to facts finds the facts disturbing, whereas creatures of acts-only would act to correct any disturbing acts. If acts could think you’d see them actually moving in response to thought; their thinking would be visible as movement. Creatures of facts don’t move when they think; they are immobilized by doubts rather than forced to move by disturbing facts. The more civilized a man becomes, the more uncomfortable he is, the more he suspects dysfunction, is prone to doubt.

The primary stage of news reporting is report of the event. An increasing sector of news reporting now focuses on people’s reactions (secondary stage) to events vs. the events per se. The third stage is now more necessary: reporting on reactions/responses to the reactions/responses of others.

During this short break while the contestants re-load their weapons,
I thought I’d bring you one guy’s
religious notation for the day;
he avers that so long as the gods
have only humans as their spokesmen
they’re in a world of trouble.

…and Kyroot said:
You could consider the continuing notions
of some common basis of all cultures
in light of the possibility that a
single virus was the cause of all civilizations.

All mortal – does that say “mortal”, or “mental”?…well, let’s try it: All mortal tyrants are sissies,
but why should YOU be the one to tell them?

A man who lives in the City
named his alter ego Dilbert Dicklebrain. (but it’s not actually as bad as it sounds
since he didn’t have an alter ego.)

Hand gestures are where acts and facts continue to meet.

When the light’s “just right”
many people can see it ….(Of course it’s only
for a second, and only on special occasions.)

As the troops massed, prepared to go over the top,
the General arrived with some final words,
“In the harsh hours ahead,
pay no attention to death
unless it is your own.”

… and Kyroot said:
The ratio of anything to everything is truly astounding when seen.

There is a fellow who works over near
Technology Central
who says he will answer “personal questions”
only when forced to do so
…..(he hands out little cards which state that he is easily forced to answer
personal questions.)

And -Oh Yeah,
working for an unknown employer is ALSO not unlike the tango.

…and Kyroot said:
Another acid-proof-test: Knowledge isn’t real human knowledge
unless someone made it up.

that he has begun to periodically hear quite distinct messages that say,
“Hello, hello,
this is Life calling,
is anyone there? – can you hear me?”

and Kyroot said:
One guy said to himself
that he’d be as likely to
commit murder as he would suicide – (which he found
to be of real comfort.)

There was this one other fellow
who decided to draw up a chronological outline
of his intellectual development – it stopped at about the time
of Cromwell – No, I don’t mean
his knowledge of history
stopped there, I mean

In response to this evening’s second Kyroot
(regarding the distance between sovereigns and the poetic muse)
one monarch wants his words heard. Says His Grace,
“It is hard to exercise power AND good taste.”

“Out of the mouths of humans ofttimes come words.”)

And the lad thought, “And that’s YOUR advice for the day, ay?”
And the elder admitted, “No, I just told you that on Life’s orders.”
