Kyroot to :04. If you don’t allow ordinary intellect to say why it likes or dislikes things, then like/dislike is solely based on PL reasons. In a future a Real Explorer would see there are no cures, only more or less functional treatments in ordinary time. No treatment is universal, ideal or permanent. The things uniquely human have no treatment for them, save death.
Re: the human amplifier metaphor: can there BE a powerful signal which carries no info–i.e., that is meaningless for a human? Yes and no. Yes for ordinary men, no for Life; to think otherwise is to have no understanding of Life’s efficiency.
All civilizations have their homicides, suicides and neuroses with various practitioners to treat or take advantage of them, depending on one’s view. But there is no difference between these two: there is no such thing as treatment.
A useless description of This Thing: People actually living This Thing are having more fun inside by themselves than does everyone else, collectively, on the outside.

On this one planet, after concluding that the abnormals
among them weren’t responsible for their abnormal behavior they
decided that the normals were likewise not responsible for their
normal behavior…and after that they didn’t seem to know where
to go with this.

In certain areas of some systems modified behavior is no

One pubescent planet adopted the directive, “Stick to the
