Kyroot to :03.
If This Thing were named “universal rebellion” and RE’s/Real Explorers as universal rebels, nevertheless it/they would be invisible, secret, without trying to be so. It is secret because those involved are resisting ALL locally existing conditions—everything—nonspecifically, thus their activity cannot be identified. There is a fractured, local reality for every person, which they mistakenly believe is secondary to a ‘universal’, “real” reality. This local reality cannot be rehabilitated, can only be left behind by a RE. The only approach to a universal reality is the debarkation from local reality into a continual survey-travel.

Having an “open mind” is no deliverance from local reality either: the mind cannot be open to limits beyond its natural operation (e.g., radio won’t operate outside the FM frequency range). The Universal Traveler wants to escape every local reality; non-selective rebellion against all ordinary chemical reactions to apparently external stimuli within the brain. The RE ceases to feel ill, to feel the illness imposed by Life on man and which all men feel. The RE can only be made ill by refusing to travel away from his home port; the ordinary pressures of the rat-race, SL/secondary level concerns, cannot sicken him, but refusing to turn his back on them will.

And Kyroot Said…

All obligations are the same obligation.

***

If it’s not in Life’s best interest, take a number.

***

On this one planet, they claim that a creature’s brain is
the most obvious part of him.

***

If you doubt Man’s usefulness, just ask yourself this:
“Why does it never rain indoors?”

***

When verbs go on vacation, they don’t go anywhere.

***

Under combat conditions it’s best notù to dress out your
brain in little lace panties.

***

It’s hard to succumb, on the run.

***

There’s this place where ’tis said that just attending the
meetings doesù count for something.

***

The more men succeed in becoming “worthwhile,” the greater
they open themselves up to embarrassing felony arrests.

***

One undefined premise to all creatures’ lives is: The search
for a stable energy base.

***

All distinctions alienate, and all distances make us aliens.

***

The world with the biggest tongue is always the best kisser.

***
All round trips leave out one important point…

***

I found this one place where those who say, “I understand
it, I just don’t like it,” are ultimately shot.

***

If you can’t work alone, what are you gonna do later?

***

Where is it, you think, that people can believe that which
they don’t need to know?

***

This one guy would say, “When you’re damn well whipped and
defeated, at least you can relax.”

***

Although it’s hard to tell from their words, everybody’s
hollerin’, “Let me in.”

***

Except for those hollerin’, “Let me out.”

***

A Real Explorer can make no wrong turns.
