Kyroot to :04. In entities, processes and objects, once they become complex an additional dimension becomes inevitable, while it is not so that it is inevitable that people see that dimension. This is the reality behind the “irritability factor” in human life; the normal human response to change is upset and irritation resulting from the general wired-up inability to see the additional dimension brought by complexity.

Everything is flourishing, gaining complexity, thus additional dimension, all recognized/felt only as irritating change by the individual. This is especially true at the individual level. A person cannot recognize his own growing complexity cum additional dimension, ergo, irritation, the itch to improve himself coupled with the fond recollection of simpler times.

Rarely, by accident, men do become aware of their increased complexity—“mystical experience”—and this fuels the desire for change, to suffer for improvement. All ideas of “paradise” are calls for regression to the past, the comfortingly primitive: an impossible state but necessary tendency to stabilize unchecked change.

This allows a new perception of ‘irritation’ for the RE/Real Explorer: it is the explanation of everyone’s desire to suffer a little to improve, to be upset as the only way available to participate/understand the process of growth going on at Life’s own level. It would be detrimental to Life if individuals became so complex that they then knew it
