Ordinary intelligence cannot hold a satisfying all-encompassing, singular, unified ‘god’-concept without it becoming divided. ‘God’ was the original attempt at science—search for the answer. But the mind produces division within the original unified god-answer, e.g.: the devil, and such division is necessary for growth. Consider the story of Faust and the ‘Faustian Bargain’ for knowledge; a ‘deal’ with the anti-god which always ultimately proves to man’s detriment. Why is this? What is Life trying to tell man by these stories (movement of verbal energy).

Note that the spin-off, splinter anti-god is younger than the original god cell and therefore carries the possibility of greater complexity. The unified original source cannot have knowledge for it would then be divided. Note the concept running thru all religions—evil only exists to the degree god (or man) allows it to exist. It’s as if god says, “if there is evil, it is your fault for being aware of it, for allowing it go exist. It is Life’s masterstroke of shifting the responsibility from itself apparently to man.

The Real Explorer knows that everything living divides, harbors within itself a threatening, dangerous, haunting specter of opposition. Every entity must have varying internal self-views in order to live; its memory must be fractured. This is the case with individual humans at the intellectual level. Yet people expend every effort to seek out unification.

To attempt to lose weight, for example, is the 3-d manifestation of a desire to eliminate the varying internal view of “I’m too fat”. Everybody deals with Secondary Level behavior, e.g., losing weight, rather than the Primary Level attempt to lose the Internal Dialogue about being overweight. The RE has got to absorb all internal variant self-views, not stop them, embrace them.

You can’t get into New Territory while allowing it to render you impotent, listless with ennui. To feel good you’ve got to do good. Forget the possible—it is too simplistic; attempt the impossible.
