You Have No “I”

A man who talks too much buries himself while he yet stands.

“Papa, is there a technical description of what, ‘being-asleep’ is?”
Many have been proposed, but here is the best.  It is having only thoughts that your brain automatically provides.

You have no “I” until thought commandeers it – by then, it’s all over anyway.

You must be devoid of real sense
to insist that life must make sense.

Those who, when they think they are being clever, want you to know that they’re being so, are amateurs.
