The Force of a Wrecking Ball

Just as every tyrant needs at least one rebel to keep him alert, so do the minds of all actual men have that one thought which hounds them to awaken.

Trying to awaken is trying to stay one step ahead of hormones, just in front of habit and instinct.

One sign of what a man is, is if he does not consider life his dearest possession.

One guy says he’s decided to become, “a tough customer”!
(What purveyor of what services do you reckon he has in mind?)

A man with meaningless original thoughts is always preferable to one spouting stolen splendiferous ones. (Since everyone is a fool, at least be a creative one.)

The revolutionist needs a mind like a scalpel –
backed by the force of a wrecking ball.

Under assault the sleeper would awake; then in peace – content with his sleep. Even if life was nothing but strife and sorrow, an awakened man would refuse to acknowledge it.
