Being of independent mind is NOT being a hermit…(leastwise, not visibly).
All information arising from the collective mind of man is always, in part, aggressive. This sort of so-called knowledge is responsible for protecting itself, almost at any cost. (What a cute word, “almost”; a child’s mental pacifier.)
Before they reach The Promised Land, men have no heroes. Once there, they are crushed by them.
To be a true individual and freed from captivity, you must be independent in a very specific way, which has a price that few are willing to pay.
“Come on, champ, pick up the tab. Cost should mean nothing to you. You’ve had it all; you’ve done it all, and collected way more than you’ll ever use. Come on, pay up one more time, and this time, pay up BIG TIME and be done with it.”
