The Realm of Understanding

The realm of understanding is almost one of a special sort of solitude.
(Bare reality has few neighbors.)

One guy says: “Now that I know my mind, I know it all.  Now that I know that my mind cannot know itself, I have no questions left…and yet I do have one.  Even though I now know that my mind cannot know itself – why won’t mine stop trying?”

There is a reality that is the exact reverse of this one.  It is where you first go on the trip to enlightenment, and if you survive that, you move on to a place that is more or less the opposite of that one, (but not really describable in the language you now use), and after that, smooth sailing on to the ultimate prize.

Always be on the lookout; always be suspicious.  The supreme approach is to take the attitude that everything you think you understand – you have backwards.

The realm of understanding is almost one of a special sort of solitude.
(Bare reality has few neighbors.)
