People talk about themselves to others, and write their biographies in an effort to tell the truth about themselves – in that they are aware that what the voice in their head says about them is un-true, (distorted and skewed). Talking aloud is not the same as not, and realizing what is behind this is most refreshing…(not to mention, mouth-shutting).
Common to note among those seeking the understanding, is their mental self apparently not wanting to be in the same place and same time with their non-mental self…or maybe it is the mental self not wanting to be with itself?
To ever awaken, a man must first believe that there is a mind beyond his mind. Being asleep is believing there is a mind beyond your mind. To live confused, just keep on thinking that there is a reality to the one you think there is that is outside of your thoughts.
Once you learn to stay astride thoughts,
they turn out to be a one trick pony,
and no one ever notices.
Prisoners are primed for movement; the warden wants everything still.
