The intellect is required to create a break in an otherwise uniform survival level. Blandness, uniformity is required at the survival level—NOT at the intellectual level. But man denies the variety of intellect and demands an equivalent uniformity; i.e., he thinks wrong ideas are poisonous food, unnoticing that all others nonetheless thrive on them.

“Great ideas” come ultimately from the stomach, from the hormonal level and are more directly related to the needs of mankind. Lesser ideas come less directly from the hormonal. Great ideas are mystical and have no foe (e.g., “love thine enemy”).
