This Thing is pleasurable, causes the brain to give out endorphins, and is not different in essence from the chemicals released by enjoyment of say an opera.
When negative emotions run thru the limbic system, words can do nothing to improve the situation. But this is all reasonable modern man has available to him to attempt to effect justice/revenge for wrongs done him, i.e., to attempt to change his own brain chemistry. Being cheated, humbled, humiliated is to feel powerless, a form of feeling ill, off balance, but note that it is an illness that enters via your brain, not thru the usual lower circuits. Thus it is secondary illness and can be avoided by a RE/Real Explorer for his own strengthening process: revelation (new info); rejuvenation (new energy); release (freedom).
There are two modes of the brain/intelligence: primary-biological “wet”-chemical, and secondary-psychological-“dry”-verbal/oral. The RE, when thinking about thinking, should regard it as biological, wet/chemical process feeding a surrounding verbal, “chatty”, dry planetary orbiting system. The RE should think, picture, feel that the center of his universe is the wet-brain, radiating chemicals and supporting a surrounding dry-brain solar system of planets. To do this will inevitably produce “BrainSmile”–the ultimate goal of the RE.
Happiness is not ‘out there’ in circumstances, it is in the brain chemistry. Constantly think, picture, feel that thought is the wet-brain center; think biological, chemical happiness.
