Kyroot to :04.

How can a monarchy be strong and flexible at the same time, when inflexibility is the primary charisma of an ordinarily powerful monarch? By doing the unexpected and apparently not be aware of it, or not mention it. A flexible monarch would give no clues to the people—no cues for those dancing backwards with him. He acts as if his unexpected act never happened. In the lower areas of man’s circuitry, flexibility is not beneficial; at the physical and emotional level stability is what is desired—not flexibility.

Although the apparent purpose of psychology-religion etc., is for emotional health-inflexibility, to be invariably happy, inflexibly happy, is unnatural and impossible in the City. Flexibility can only be tolerated at the YC/yellow circuit level, and only for a few. It would be a form of New Intelligence.

The Carnot principle of entropy says no full conversion of energy from one state to another is possible. In the human being, the sensation of “I” is the flow restrictor effecting this Carnot principle reality. The purpose of the I-sensation is as a constrictor to an unfettered flow of energy between differing energy potentials. Why is this so? Life needs the incompleteness of energy conversion or else every energy conversion would be complete and final—never to occur again. This would be universal stasis is very short order.

And Kyroot Said…

At eleven fifty-nine on New Year’s Eve, don’t invite ANYone
to dance.

***

If it weren’t for feeling “ratty” a lot of people wouldn’t
have any way TO feel.

***

You are NOT a fit subject for restoration.

***

A would-be intellectual magician who said, “Watch closely
kid, at no time do my brains leave my head.”

***

Here’s my ole City Philosopher’s latest verbal gambit, “The
next best thing to knowing something is not knowing it.”

***

It’s usually the one with the least poetic nature who is
first to say, “O.K., weld that sucker.”

***

If you’re going to live in City consciousness at least clean
your streets as often as they do.

***

The unnaturally stable ARE unnatural.

***

The other night, out near that area ‘tween the City limits
sign and the Bushes, I heard someone singing this little ditty,
“I have this little friend, who lives around the bend, and I go
to see him, every now and then.”

***

On the City level, knowledge is merely lawful prejudice.

***

Come on gang, raise your glasses, and let’s hear it for
eternity!

***
At a City carnival one guy said, “The reason I don’t like
merry-go-rounds is that they only go in one direction,” and
another Man mused, “Humm, that’s the very reason I DO like them.”

***

The most complex, revealing thought ever thought has never
been thought.

***

Two guys were standing around the loading zone last night
and I heard one say that he had heard that this life was just a
prep school for Men to LEARN to be serious. (I trust that
something heavy won’t fall on him later, if not already.)

***

Nakedness IS one of the better weapons.

***

Overheard a City father fervently say, “I do hope and pray
that my son will be a lot like me.” Does this guy believe in
safe prayers, or what!

***

There IS one organization that is actively, and directly
involved with a “Great Undertaking,” but no one knows its name,
or what it does.

***

An ole City sorehead said that if he HAD a religion, it
would be one of “blind, serene faith tempered by blasphemy.”

***

Should we be not eternally, and humbly thankful for those
brave, insightful souls who have ofttimes sang out in the name of
Man, “Let us take what the fates have dealt us.” (While the
orchestra plays, “As Opposed To What?”)

***

Evidence is meaningless… and proof a waste of time.
