Look out the Window

The difference between youth and age is like the distinction between knowing what you want and remembering what it was you wanted.

 

There is a mystery in words and a mystery of words; being able to untangle the latter destroys the former.

 

Striking a metric pose in the sunlight by the window, the poetry instructor declared, “Some human sorrows are too humble to be noted in verse,” and in unison the class demanded, “Oh yeah?  Name one!”

 

Another guy said the best thing he liked about being himself was that he didn’t have to get all dressed up and go out to meet him.
