Musical Interludes

They have still yet to discover a universe where even the gods won’t take a leak in a cemetery if they have to.


As a friendly gesture, one ole man advised his kid by saying, “Get your tongue out of the road.”


There was this one locale
that would purposefully
let it get late just so it could
tell everyone to go home.


There was this one man who loved other people’s music; he loved it so much, in fact, that when he found a particular song he liked he’d give it new words and melody.


One City, whenever they would pass a new law or ordinance, would note therein that it had only local application, and NO universal significance.  (For those of you on a short snorting leash, should I add that the universal certainly heaved a solid sigh of relief.)
